tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69399299334447357552011-04-21T13:29:40.465-07:00Taylorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01417666978969436481noreply@blogger.comBlogger21100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6939929933444735755.post-6277376836482448402011-02-02T11:59:00.000-08:002011-02-02T12:13:01.977-08:00I made this pattern up when one of the elders from my church was teasing me about my fingerless hand mitts saying that i should just make some with out the palm and everything and just make the fingers from knuckle to knuckle, so I came home and made up a pattern!<br />When making up the pattern it took me about 2 hours to make 10 of them, but after i had the pattern down it only took me a few minutes to make each one.<br /><br />Pictures are coming soon...<br /><br />Materials:<br />Size 8 (5mm) straight needles<br />1 skien worsted weight yarn (I'm not sure exactly how much yarn is needed yet)<br /><br />Cast 12 stitches<br /><br />Row 1: *k2, p2* across<br />Row 2: Repeat row 1 across<br />Row 3: Knit across<br />Row 4: Purl across<br />Rows 5 &amp; 6: Repeat rows 3 &amp; 4<br />Rows 7 &amp; 8: Repeat row 1 twice<br />(It should measure about 1 1/2" long)<br /><br />Fold warmer with the right side facing you, and the edges lined up. Weave the warmer all the way up and then weave in yarn end.<br /><br />Make as many as you want! They're quick and easy, so if you want to make 10 it doesn't take very long. You could even make a different color for each finger. So I started this blog just to post some of my knitting stuff. Hopefully someone will find it helpful and enjoy the things I post!
